WHAT IS BGS ?
Birmingham Gay Skins was created by Steve and Mickey on 21st November, 2008 when they organised the first gay skin night in Boltz Club.
The first night was such a success, that this inspired Steve & Mickie to talk to the management of Boltz Club, about getting a regular night going, within the club, and establish it as the base for BGS.
After the next successful BGS skin night in January 2009, the promoters talked about the idea of having an annual Skin Weekend Event, and Oi-Fest! was created. BGS skin nights continued to run on a bi monthly basis, and the first annual Skin weekend Oi-Fest!, was arranged in November 2009 where approx. 400 skins attended the club over that weekend. Oi-Fest! 2 occurred in November 2010, nearly 600 skins attended and other helpers assisted me in the BGS work.(huge thanks guys)

BGS prides itself in trying to develop a sense of community and a social network which is inclusive of any non-political guys into fetish skin attire or lifestyle skin culture. People of every creed, colour, sexuality, age and size are welcome at BGS. Inclusion not exclusion that is what we try to promote.
BGS continues to grow and is working hard on making the gay skinhead scene relevant not only in the fetish scene, where it has been treated as a more minor, diminishing fetish in the national scene, where the major fetish scene promoters seldom have skinhead only events as "evening" events, and have high priced drinks and entry charges . BGS will always put gay skinheads first, and works hard to bring the gay skinhead community together, inviting and supporting new members to rejuvenate the scene.
We invite you to any of our events, above all our Oi-Fest! Event which is becoming the biggest in Europe, with plenty going on we hope you all come and enjoy yourself!
